Tourists in Hue, Vietnam
|
Greetings,
I borrowed this idea from another photographer. His name is Kyle Cassidy.
I stumbled upon a link through Moleskinerie featuring his work documenting Where I Write: Fantasy & Science Fiction Authors in Their Creative Spaces. See more of Kyle's work through links on the Where I Write page.
Thanks Kyle.
So I thought, hey, great idea. Feature a new photo every week or more often depending on the mood elevation swings, with some details, descriptions, plenty of artistic amino acids and mix well. Here goes.
Here are three European tourists enjoying Hue, Vietnam. They are looking at the vast expanse of historical and culturally significant tombs, pagodas and dynastic splendors. They are enthralled. They are in awe at the scope, size and bewildering array of artistic architectural visions.
Their posture says all. The elderly man on the left suffers from chronic neck and lower back pain and will end up in a French hospital. Plus he has no shoes.
The man in the middle with good posture eats well when he travels and doesn't get much exercise. He did shift his weight while reading, burning 0.5 calories.
The woman, no relation to either man, is deep in concentration. She has acquired a deep tan. She is resting her tired head on her hand. This enables her retinas to follow small lines of endless font. All three are desperate to stay in touch. Constantly.
Drop me a line.
