Pavement Man
Greetings,
As you can see I am struggling to get one piece of life's machinery connected to another piece of life's machinery. It's a strange yet essential way of working here. We use our hands to make these wonderful time-saving efficient machines, like an asphalt street thing-a-ma-jig and then, wham, stuff gets clogged in the line and they call me.
I am Mr. Unclog and I've been opening and closing these lines for decades. It's a job and it ain't glamorous. It puts food on the table, keeps a roof over my family's head and supports my wife and children. It's an honorable trade and I'm the best in the business.
The next time you drive down a smooth as silk, perhaps glass street somewhere in the world feeling the steady singing hum of your tires on asphalt you may remember the old guy with the oily hands who cleared the line to make it all possible.
Peace.
