ink brush pressure

I visit from Mars. It is 38 billion miles away. A way.

Earthlings visit a hospital to collect relatives with an expiration date ... a woman scrubs steel pots in a gutter soapy floods flow into street drains.

Earthlings are good at two things - eating and sleeping.

A young woman chops meat. Absorbing her rhythm I play my harp. She dances with a bloody cleaver.

We share laughter. Music is the fuel.

"When we dance the earth trembles, the earth feels the beating of our hearts and we become one with the earth. We must chant our being, and we must dance in time with the rhythms of the earth. We must keep the earth..." - Earth Keeper by N. Scott Momaday.

I can help you. I can't solve your problem.

Kandinsky

Fishtail Mountain, Annapurna Range, Nepal

Wassily Kandinsky, the painter, had the ability to see sound and hear color.

In 1911 he founded "The Blue Rider" school in Munich, taking abstract painting to another level. Magic.

Kandinsky: The Path to Abstraction 1908-1922.

..."Synesthesia is a blend of the Greek words for together (syn) and sensation (aesthesis). The earliest recorded case comes from the Oxford academic and philosopher John Locke in 1690, who was bemused by "a studious blind man" claiming to experience the colour scarlet when he heard the sound of a trumpet."

..."If Kandinsky had a favourite colour, it must have been blue: "The deeper the blue becomes, the more strongly it calls man towards the infinite, awakening in him a desire for the pure and, finally, for the supernatural… The brighter it becomes, the more it loses its sound, until it turns into silent stillness and becomes white."

..."Despite his theories that the universe was in thrall to supernatural vibrations, auras and "thought-forms", many of which came from arcane, quasi-religious movements such as theosophy, Kandinsky's belief in the emotional potential of art is still convincing today. Our response to his work should mirror our appreciation of music and should come from within, not from its likenesses to the visible world: "Color is the keyboard. The eye is the hammer. The soul is the piano with its many strings."

Trust

Hugs from Bon, all of 5, after his teacher said, T is leaving.
A small powerful hug from a dark haired smiling shy Lao boy.
Culmination.
A month of fun.
Dancing down 30 days playing, alphabets, songs, sharing, swimming, evolving, discovering inherent childhood joy.
Reading stories, drawing, hugs. Trust.

Lilacs purple green line the street dress
Silent theatrical gestures
Sent her home
Absorbing her tears, her art becomes alive
Stories, songbirds water the garden
Mindfulness in the moment
Ling sleeps off her sadness.

Letting go with emotional heart-mind awareness.
Blind eyes on a dark path at night.

Ling's Vision

Heart-mind.

Ling's art flourishes.

Draw the future.

Live broadly.

Write boldly.

Today is the day of my dreams. Kindergarten kids all sleepy eyed ramble into alphabets, songs, dances, friends, games, silver slides, swings propelling people into sky.

Freedom zooms upward.

He leaves Laos at New Year. Where will you go?

I'm not sure, perhaps Turkey (happens in September) who knows, back to Siem Reap.

I have writing, images, wandering and helping others help their self and Elves.

Facilitate.
